Aggregator of the Year…again!

On Friday evening October 14, Money Quest Group was named ‘Aggregator of the Year’ (Up to 500 Brokers) at the 2022 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs). This marks back-to-back wins for the boutique aggregator, after taking out the same category at last year’s event.

The annual Australian Mortgage Awards, one of the leading independent awards events in the mortgage industry, returned to an in-person black-tie format this year, and was hosted at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney. The glamourous event celebrated the leading brokers, brokerages, lenders, aggregators, lenders and BDMs of the finance community.

The ‘Aggregator of the Year’ award recognises the best aggregator (or sub-aggregator) in the Australian mortgage industry with up to 500 brokers. When judging this category, the expert judging panel considered the following criteria:

  • accuracy and timeliness in commission payment
  • quality of lending panel, IT and CRM support
  • broker communication
  • BDM support
  • compliance support, training and education
  • lead generation

Money Quest Group was delighted to receive this year’s ‘Aggregator of the year’ (up to 500 brokers) award. The group has had an extremely busy and rewarding 12 months, filled with opportunities, challenges, change, business acquisitions, platform migrations, conferences, professional development days, training, staff appointments, knowledge sharing, and importantly, growth – for the group as a whole and for members’ businesses.

Money Quest Group’s value proposition is predicated on transitioning individual mortgage brokers into owners of thriving businesses. The group strives to make this transition as smooth and as successful as possible by providing brokers with ongoing training, innovative technology, educational resources, mentorship, professional development opportunities, marketing and creative strategy support, a digital presence, and business coaching.

Since franchising in 2016, more than 100 businesses have joined the MoneyQuest franchise network, highlighting the group’s rapid rate of growth, high retention rate and the strength of its value proposition. In November 2021, the group re-engineered its structure by acquiring leading sub-aggregation business, Buyers Choice, and in May 2022 the organisation purchased another boutique sub-aggregation business, Loans Actually. Money Quest Group now operates as both a franchise business and a sub-aggregation business, enabling the organisation to cater for all brokers, whether they are looking to operate within a franchise, or trade under their own business name.

This award is testament to Money Quest Group’s hardworking brokers and their staff, referral partners, business supporters, and the unrivalled support provided to members by the dedicated and diligent head office team. Money Quest Group is committed to supporting its brokers across a broad spectrum of service areas and equipping members with the skills and resources they need to build and maintain successful mortgage broking businesses. To be recognised as ‘best in industry’ in this space for the second year in a row is incredibly exciting.
