Have Your Rates Changed? Lender Changes May 2026

The RBA’s decision to increase interest rates 0.25% last week is now being carried on by lenders to borrowers. With interest rates now on the rise, it’s important to check whether your home loan repayments are about to increase.

Lenders With a 0.25% increase

The lenders listed below are those that have decided to carry over the RBA’s 0.25% increase, meaning that if you have a variable rate home loan with one of these lenders, your interest repayments will increase.

    • RedQ- Effective 6th of May for existing, new borrowers to be advised.
    • Orde –  Effective 8th of May for existing, 11th of May for new borrowers.
    • AMP Bank – Effective 11th of May for existing, 8th of May for new borrowers.
    • Beyond Bank – Effective 10th May.
    • Zeus – Effective 11th of May for existing, 18th of May for new borrowers.
    • Apollo – Effective 12th of May.
    • Bendigo Bank – Effective 13th of May.
    • Credit Union SA (SA only) – Effective 14th of May.
    • MyState – Effective 14th of May.
    • Ubank – Effective 14th of May.
    • ANZ – Effective 15th of May.
    • Bank of Melbourne (Vic only) –Effective 15th of May.
    • Bank of SA (SA only) – Effective 15th of May.
    • Bankwest – Effective 15th of May.
    • Commonwealth Bank – Effective 15th of May.
    • ING DIRECT – Effective 15th of May.
    • Liberty Financial – Effective 15th of May.
    • NAB – Effective 15th of May.
    • Pepper Money – Effective 15th of May.
    • Resimac – Effective 15th of May.
    • St. George (not Vic or SA) – Effective 15th of May.
    • Suncorp – Effective 15th of May.
    • Westpac – Effective 15th of May.
