MoneyQuest Cockburn Claims Top Honour Within First Year of Business

Less than a year after launching her MoneyQuest Cockburn franchise, Jodie Nairn has been recognised with the prestigious ‘Professional Service Award’ at this year’s FranchisingWA Awards.

Jodie triumphed in a highly competitive category that included established franchises across the real estate, accounting, and financial planning sectors – an incredible achievement for someone who has been in business for less than a year.

One of only six MoneyQuest franchises in Western Australia, Jodie’s rapid rise to success has been nothing short of extraordinary.

With an impressive 20-year background in banking, Jodie transitioned to become MoneyQuest Cockburn’s franchise owner, seeking greater freedom and the opportunity to expand her service offerings. Her passion for providing comprehensive financial solutions was a driving force behind this career shift.

Reflecting on her journey, Jodie said,

“the flexibility to service customers I couldn’t reach before, as well as stepping into the commercial, SMSF, and asset finance spaces, has been a significant change. It’s a big world, and I’m excited to be part of it”.

Jodie entered the FranchisingWA Awards with a strategic vision to elevate the MoneyQuest brand and strengthen her franchise’s presence in the market.

“It was about getting my brand out there,” Jodie said. “Anything I can do to put MoneyQuest, or MoneyQuest Cockburn, on the map is going to benefit everyone.”

Since launching MoneyQuest Cockburn, Jodie has tirelessly engaged with local businesses and built a robust network of referral partners. Leveraging her experience as a former mobile lender and active involvement in business communities like BX Networking and the Melville Chamber of Commerce, she has established connections with trusted professionals, including buyers’ agents, accountants, and settlement agents.

In her role as a mortgage broker, Jodie emphasises the importance of long-term client care, aligning with MoneyQuest’s core values.

“As a banker, I always thought once the deal was done, that was it. But now, I understand the importance of ongoing relationships – it’s about ensuring clients feel genuinely cared for,” she said.

Looking ahead, Jodie aims to build on her recent success by expanding her brand, settling high-quality loans, and continuing to make a mark within the finance industry.

“When asked at the awards why I chose a franchise, I said it’s because I wanted full support and a brand that meant something. That way, I can focus on what I do best,” she said.
